Attention, Pawlet residents and interested parties: Do you want to gather with neighbors to celebrate your community’s achievements in energy resilience?
Then mark your calendars for Friday, September 18, at 4:00 PM for a geothermal groundbreaking ceremony at the Town Green (122 School Street). Funded by the Municipal Energy Resilience program, the construction of this new renewable energy system will provide heating and cooling for the Pawlet Town Office and Public Library while reducing energy costs and greenhouse gas emissions.
Enjoy remarks from local officials and project partners, a ceremonial groundbreaking, music, refreshments, and opportunities to learn more about the project.
Please RSVP by Monday, September 14 to help organizers plan accordingly: you may click here to complete a brief form or contact Julie Mach, Town Treasurer, at [email protected] or 802-325-3309 x2.
We hope you will be able to join us for this exciting community milestone!
