2025 Benson Local Hazard Mitigation Plan is live!

We are excited to announce that the 2025 Benson Local Hazard Mitigation Plan is finally live! The Plan received formal approval from FEMA on June 2, 2026, and will remain effective until June 1, 2031. You can access the FEMA-approved Plan at https://tinyurl.com/Benson-LHMP25 until June 30, 2026. After this date, the project page will be retired, and the Plan will be housed at the Town Office and on the RRPC website. On behalf of the local Planning Team, we want to thank those who contributed to the Plan update and anyone who may be interested in reviewing Benson’s mitigation progress in the future.
