Public Notice – Wallingford Engaged in Hazard Mitigation Planning

The Town of Wallingford is updating its 2021 Local Hazard Mitigation Plan! The Plan serves as a guidebook for identifying and addressing local risks and vulnerabilities, helping Wallingford become more resilient to natural hazards. For the month of May, we want to hear from our residents about what natural hazards you are most concerned about!

Share your feedback by taking our online survey at https://tinyurl.com/wallingford-lhmp26-survey. Paper copies are also available at the Town Hall and Gilbert Hart Library and must be submitted to the Town Clerk by June 1, 2026.

The Town will also be doing a “pop-up” event on May 16 (May 30 rain date), so keep an eye out for posters in the Wallingford Village Center and let us know your priorities with colorful stickers! To learn more about the process and opportunities to participate, visit https://tinyurl.com/wallingford-lhmp26.
