A draft of the first half of the Castleton Local Hazard Mitigation Plan (LHMP), which includes an Introduction, Purpose, Community Profile, and Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment, is ready for public review. A brief overview of the work to date was provided at the May 8, 2023 Castleton Selectboard meeting. Copies of the plan are available here as well as at the Castleton Town Office.
At the May 22, 2023 Castleton Selectboard meeting, the draft plan will be discussed and there will be an opportunity to share public comments. In addition, comments on the draft plan can be submitted to Mike Jones, Castleton Town Manager, by email until May 22, 2023 – manager@castletonvt.org
