Do-It-Yourself Weatherization Skillshop - Saturday July 10, 2010 Stafford Technical Center, Rutland VT One of the challenges for Vermonters who want to make their own energy efficiency improvements on their homes is getting the proper guidance and training on how to achieve meaningful energy savings. CVCAC is organizing a series of day-long Weatherization Skillshops in nine locations statewide for do-it-yourselfers on how to weatherize their homes. Participants will learn how to choose the right energy saving products and tools for basic projects and how to safely and effectively use materials. The cost of the skillshops is $150 – which includes $100 in weatherization tools, supplies, and resources – and lunch. Rutland will host a skillshop at the Stafford Technical Center on Saturday, July 10.
